Hello In Stitches Family! Let’s talk about dads for a minute. It is almost Father’s Day after all! You may be wondering what exactly a Dad Cap is. I don’t blame you! I sure didn’t know that a Dad Cap was a thing! But don’t you worry! We’re going to talk today about what a dad cap is, and isn’t, and why your dad needs one!
Ok, I can hear you saying right now, what is a Dad Cap anyway? Is that an actual thing? I’m here to tell you that it is actually a thing! We looked it up! So we took our definition (that we’ll share with you in a bit) and went to a hat store to see if we could find a Dad Cap for Mike.
Now, these aren’t Dad Caps by the definition we found. See, it says that “Dad caps are just a simple 6-panel baseball cap with unstructured front panels and simple logos. They’ve been around for years, but only recently have they been attributed with their own name and style. Dad caps lack the frills of snapback, trucker, and fitted caps; quite simply, they are something your dad would wear.”
I can hear you saying, Oh, yes! Now I get it!
