Hello In Stitches Family,
We talk a lot about embroidery around here, but today we want to give some love to another one of our go-to methods: screen printing.
Screen printing is one of those processes that seems simple on the surface. Ink, screen, shirt. But when it’s done well, it’s incredibly effective. Bold colors. Clean lines. Prints that can stand up to everyday wear. It’s a big reason screen printing continues to be a favorite for businesses, events, teams, and organizations.

Built to Last
One of the biggest benefits of screen printing is durability. A properly screen-printed design doesn’t just sit on top of the fabric. The ink bonds with the shirt, which helps prevent cracking, peeling, or fading over time.
That makes screen printing a great choice for shirts that will be worn often, washed frequently, and expected to hold up. Think staff shirts, workwear, event tees, or anything meant to last longer than a single season.
Consistency Matters
Screen printing really shines when consistency is important. Whether you’re ordering 25 shirts or 500, each one looks the same. Logos stay sharp. Colors stay true. The end result is clean, professional, and reliable across the entire order.
This is especially helpful for businesses, teams, and organizations that need everything to match and represent them well.

Room for Creativity
Screen printing is also surprisingly flexible. From simple one-color designs to layered, multi-color artwork, it allows for a lot of creativity without sacrificing quality. It works beautifully for logos, illustrations, text-based designs, and more.
We use screen printing for everything from fundraisers and family reunions to company apparel and promotional items. It’s one of those methods that adapts well to many different needs.
The Fun Ideas
And then there are the ideas that make us stop and say, “That’s a good one.”

Adding a QR code to a screen-printed shirt is such a smart way to connect the physical and digital worlds. We’ve seen QR codes used to link to websites, menus, schedules, donation pages, and social media. It’s practical, eye-catching, and a great example of how screen printing can be both functional and creative.

Screen Printing or Embroidery?
If you’re trying to decide between screen printing and embroidery, the answer really depends on your project. Sometimes screen printing is the best fit. Sometimes embroidery makes more sense. And sometimes a combination of both works perfectly. Or something completely different.
That’s part of what we love about custom work. Every project is a little different.
Have an Idea?
If you’ve got an idea you’re kicking around, we’d love to hear it. Whether you’re starting from scratch or refining something you already have in mind, send us a message and let’s talk it through.
Custom projects are kind of our thing.
